Who we are

Studio SUB was founded in 2008 to provide a comprehensive and integrated range of Urban Planning and Architecture services.

We have a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to projects, with the involvement of different stakeholders at different stages of development, to achieve differentiated, more sustainable and meaningful solutions. We have a multidisciplinary team, made up of Architects, Urban Planners and Landscape architects, and strategic partnerships for complementary specialties, which allow us to develop more complex projects, in different scopes and scales.

Architecture

Our projects result from the work process, the context, the urban scale, and the application of sustainability principles.

Since 2008, we have been working with the public and private sectors, in different geographies, carrying out projects for different sectors, including Public Buildings, Housing, Offices, Public Space, Culture and Education, Rehabilitation and Tourism, which has enabled us to develop projects of increasing complexity.

Landscaping

Landscape architecture is present in most of our projects, being decisive for creating of more sustainable and integrated solutions.

In the design of private gardens, public parks, exterior spaces of buildings or urbanizations, in the articulation of interventions with the surrounding natural systems, landscaping is increasingly an essential component of our services.

Urbanism

Trough our interdisciplinary team we also provide services in the areas of Urban Planning and Urban Design.

Our work with public entities, such as municipalities or regional governments, has been constant in our activity, developing territorial management plans, such as Detailed Plans and General Plans. We have also worked in various Master Plans and urban Design schemes, both with the public and private sectores, with particular reference to the projects carried out in Angola within the scope of the National Housing Programme.
