Integrated Transport Center of Lubango
Integrated in the Detailed Regeneration Plan of Tchioco, the main informal market in of Lubango, the Regional Bus Terminal aims to concentrate the main provincial and inter-provincial bus transport services in the Province of Huíla. Designed with a circular structure, the complex comprises 3 distinct areas: an entry point of the terminal, where taxi Pick-up and Drop-off areas are located; the main building, containing the ticket offices, some restaurants and shops, public toilets, and administrative areas, in an intermediate position; and to bus terminal areas that occupies a significant area inside the compound. The proposed circular structure allowed the creation of green spaces associated with the waiting areas for users, also ensuring natural lighting and ventilation of all covered spaces.
