The project stems from the intention of demolishing an abandoned building in the center of Malange city and its replacement with a new office building for the Provincial Directorates. The proposed building seeks to maintain the implantation and volumetry of the existing building in order to maintain the coherence of the urban scale, but proposes a different relationship with the public space, ensuring greater permeability for access to the interior of the plot. The building also proposes a differentiated interior organization for the various departments, using double height ceilings and galleries in the distribution areas, with access to meeting rooms and management offices on the lower floor, and access to the open space workrooms on the upper floors. Natural lighting is ensured simultaneously through the main façade and vertical shafts that reinforce the distribution of light and ventilation.
