Public Garden in M´Bemba N´Gango
Located in a central neighborhood of Uige, the M´Bemba N´Gango Garden has a strategic position near the city center.
The Garden has been without maintenance for many years and is no longer attractive for users. The objective of the intervention was to create a qualified green space for the resident population.
Taking advantage of the lower level of this Square compared to the surrounding roads, the project proposes a large central amphitheater-like space, which is formalized by paths and benches on the Garden slopes, as well as a children’s playground and a small café with a terrace that will enhance the use of the Garden. Parking areas on the front of the garden were also considered for non-residents.
